Reflection Over Argumentative Paper

I felt strongly about writing my paper about junk food since I have a teenager and a husband with heart stents. My mom owns a health food store in a small town. I know very well the struggles of keeping costs as low as possible, providing the best product and providing what people want. I hope my paper can help others. I read it to my husband before submitting and he said he learned multiple things. I was lead to my sources by the “options for topics and sources” within the module. This was a very useful tool that helped lead me to areas I would not have normally gone. I was drawn to my topic right away just because it hits close to home. I wrote my proposal straight from my heart and was feeling “feisty and excited” the day I wrote it. I was looking forward to writing an amazing paper. Shortly after my proposal was accepted, I experienced a huge life changing event. After my proposal was approved, I went to work on my rough draft. I read all 3 of my source articles. I took the information in the best I could. I worked really hard on applying the Toulmin method, being careful not to plagiarize and provide my thoughts on the subject with the research learned. The feedback received from Ms. D was very helpful. Her voice is very calming. I appreciate the attention to every detail and having the opportunity to receive that feedback. I hope I made changes that you are happy with and that it helped the flow. The feedback from my peer review was so valuable. That is hard to do sometimes. She provided good information and ideas for adjustment that I applied in my final draft for sure. What I would do differently, I certainly wish my mind was clearer to focus more on the information. I absolutely did the best I could during a life changing event, while writing the paper, that I did not expect. I know I am right where I’m supposed to be so really not anything I could have done different.
